Who We Are

The House of Culture and Art Washington DC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) institution devoted to advancing cultural literacy, artistic expression, and intercultural dialogue. Established as a dynamic platform for intellectual and creative exchange, the organization embodies the conviction that culture and the arts are indispensable in cultivating mutual understanding, social cohesion, and inclusivity.

Our mission is anchored in the dual responsibility of preserving the richness of Arab and global heritage while fostering contemporary innovation. Through our diverse programs encompassing education, literature and reading initiatives, music and choir performances, book signings and literary dialogues, theater and dramatic arts, painting and visual expression, dance and creative movement, as well as traditional and contemporary crafts we provide an environment in which knowledge, creativity, and heritage converge.
